Welcome to AlbCars, a peer-to-peer car rental marketplace connecting car owners ("Hosts") with individuals seeking to rent vehicles ("Renters"). These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of our platform and services. By accessing or using AlbCars, you agree to comply with and be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree to these Terms, please do not use our platform.

2. Platform Usage

a. Eligibility: You must be at least 18 years old to use our platform. By using AlbCars, you represent and warrant that you are 18 or older.

b. Account Registration: To use certain features of our platform, you may need to register for an account. You agree to provide accurate, current, and complete information during the registration process and to update such information to keep it accurate, current, and complete.

c. Hosts and Renters: AlbCars facilitates transactions between Hosts and Renters. The platform does not own, operate, or have any control over the vehicles listed. Hosts are solely responsible for the vehicles they list.

3. Booking and Payments

a. Booking Process: Renters can browse available vehicles, submit booking requests, and communicate with Hosts. Hosts have the right to accept or decline booking requests.

b. Payments: Renters will be charged for the rental, and Hosts will receive payments after the completion of the rental period. AlbCars may deduct a service fee from the total amount.

4. Vehicle Liability

a. Ownership: AlbCars does not own any vehicles listed on the platform. Hosts are the owners of the vehicles, and they are responsible for their condition, maintenance, and compliance with local regulations.

b. Inspection: Renters are encouraged to inspect the vehicle before the rental period begins. Any concerns should be communicated to the Host.

5. Dispute Resolution

AlbCars is not responsible for disputes between Hosts and Renters. We encourage users to communicate effectively and resolve issues amicably. If a dispute arises, users may contact AlbCars for assistance.

6. Termination

AlbCars reserves the right to suspend or terminate your account if you violate these Terms or engage in fraudulent or illegal activities.
